The Washington Post Names FTC a 2021 Top Washington-Area Workplace
This prestigious award highlights companies across a range of industries in the greater Washington area that are leaders in company satisfaction and employee engagement
VIENNA, VA
Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) has been named one of The Washington Post’s 2021 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. Selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection. This year’s honorees include government contractors, real estate firms, professional and business services, law firms and tech companies.
“Now in its eighth year, The Post’s Top Workplaces list continues to highlight the companies in the Washington-area that are leaders in company satisfaction and engagement,” said Washington Post Top Workplaces editor Dion Haynes. “Throughout the past 15 months, these companies have had to make quick decisions in order to keep their employees safe while also balancing productivity and efficiency, and their employees have taken note of this great work.”
Specializing in Agile Transformation, IT Infrastructure & Modernization, Cyber & Threat Detection, Data Science & Analytics, and Intelligence Engineering & Operations, FTC is an IT services and solutions provider that delivers next-gen digital solutions to its Federal Government customers. Having grown from a “company of one” to over 600 employees since its inception in 2007, FTC has experienced exponential year-over-year growth in employee numbers – and in geographic spread with teams working from three corporate offices, onsite at multiple customer locations, and remotely from 36 states across the country and OCONUS. Despite this explosive growth, FTC has remained deeply committed to its original “FTC Family” values by focusing on employee wellbeing and development, emphasizing diversity and inclusion, and engaging in meaningful corporate philanthropy to give back to the community. At just under 50% female, 43% minority reflecting a wide range of cultural backgrounds, and 23% Veteran, the diverse “FTC Family” is energized by a high degree of camaraderie, deep connection to its social mission, and vibrant corporate culture.
“This year of all years, as we weathered a global pandemic that changed every aspect of our daily lives, recognition as a Top Workplace demonstrates that our efforts to maintain a flexible and supportive family-first environment are having a positive impact on our employees,” commented Chief Operating Officer Benjamin Lin. “In this incredibly challenging time, our team has overcome massive obstacles by communicating, collaborating, and connecting in new ways. This award is driven by our employees and is a powerful testament both to our positive corporate culture and to the strong bond within the FTC family even during difficult times.”
