FTC’s Pedram Rastegar and Jessica Jewart Named Top 3 and Top 20 Talent Acquisition Professionals in the World in the 2022 OnCon Icon Awards

FTC, a leading provider of next-gen IT services and solutions for government agencies across the federal sector, announced today that two members of the company’s high-performing recruiting team, Vice President, Talent Acquisition Pedram Rastegar and Director of Talent Acquisition Jessica Jewart, were named as Top Talent Acquisition professionals in the world in the 2022 OnCon Icon Awards. Jessica was recognized as the Top 20 Talent Acquisition Professional within the Top 50 list, while Pedram was named as the Top Three Talent Acquisition Professional in the world among the elite list of Top 10.
The OnCon Icon Awards recognize top Talent Acquisition professionals in the world across a wide range of industries. Award winners – listed as Top 100, Top 50, and Top 10 award winners – were nominated, voted on, and selected by peers and executives across the global Talent Acquisition community for their considerable impact on their organization, strong contributions to the community through thought leadership, innovation in their role / career, and exceptional leadership. OnCon Icon Award recipients were announced in a virtual ceremony attended by senior Talent Acquisition professionals and industry leaders on Tuesday, July 12th.
An innovative, high energy, and strategic leader with extensive, multifaceted experience working with companies large and small across a range of industries, Pedram joined FTC in 2016 and advanced to Vice President Talent Acquisition in 2019, overseeing a team of eight dedicated to staffing and sourcing talent for contracts across FTC’s rapidly expanding portfolio. In this role, Pedram has had proven success in the end-to-end development, optimization, and management of a high-quality talent acquisition funnel that has directly impacted customer delivery and satisfaction, business growth, workforce planning and retention, and exceeded FTC’s established strategic targets for diversity and Veteran hiring goals.
With multiple AIRS certifications and 13+ years of hands-on experience leading staffing initiatives for small to mid-sized businesses across the IT industry, Jessica Jewart joined FTC in 2018 and has contributed greatly to the success of the company’s high-performing recruiting team. In her role as Director of Talent Acquisition, Jessica has applied her skills to staff high priority contracts across FTC’s diverse portfolio, developed and cultivated key relationships with leading platforms such as LinkedIn and ClearanceJobs, and contributed greatly to successful employer branding initiatives. An energetic leader both in her field and in her community, Jessica has served as a Career and Leadership Coach, mentor with the Global Women in Tech (WIT) Movement and a member of the National Association of Women Sales Professionals (NAWSP), among others. Jessica has successfully trained over 100+ recruiters across the IT industry in delivering the full recruiting life cycle in under 7 days.
