Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Awards FTC Information Security Continuous Monitoring / Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program Support (ISCM CDMS) Task

VIENNA, VA

Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC), a leading provider of IT services and solutions across the federal sector that was acquired by management consulting firm Federal Advisory Partners (F|A|P) earlier this year, was awarded the Management Consulting Services and Healthcare Revenue Workflow Management and Business Information Technology Tools contract for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Office of Finance – Revenue Operations & Consolidated Patient Account Centers (CPAC). This 4-year, $191M contract, awarded on VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology-Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle, will enable continued improvement of third- and first- party collections (more than $4.5B annually) and support integration with VA’s new Cerner Millennium Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to improve revenue operations within VA’s CPACs.

This effort entails providing a shippable product, operations support, and security compliance for the Revenue Operations Sub-Product Line under the OIT’s Health Finance Product Line (FPL); providing the commercial components of the VA’s automated payer compliance and workflow management tools and associated licenses; supporting continued development/configuration, healthcare insurance modeling, and maintenance/sustainment in support of the revenue operations information technology business tools; and providing revenue cycle management consulting services in support of Revenue Operations business operations and practices, to include associated training.

To support this requirement, FTC will deliver a team comprised of best-in-class subject matter experts and incumbent partners from its parent company F|A|P – which has supported this effort for 16 years since its envisioning and pilot demonstration, to include implementing the national CPAC program and subsequent Enterprise Workflow Management Engine (EWME) enhancements. FTC couples this unparalleled subject matter expertise with a proven program management framework as a T4NG prime contractor on 38 task orders to date; experience implementing DevSecOps principles, SAFe practices, and Product Line Management maturity across VA; and best practices integrating legacy Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) applications with Cerner’s EHR.

As FTC and F|A|P CEO Tim Borchert stated: “This landmark win is the culmination of our 15+ year partnership with the VA and a relentless dedication to improve VA operations at all levels of the enterprise. With this award – FTC’s 39th task order on the T4NG contract vehicle – we are proud to continue FTC’s long legacy of mission alignment as a trusted partner to the VA. As well, we steward F|A|P’s decades-long revenue cycle performance management support within Revenue Operations into an exciting new chapter. We look forward to continuing the important work of implementing best practices and streamlining standardized processes and business tools at VA Medical Centers across the country to enhance the next generation of Veteran Care.”
