FTC was selected for an award under the 8(a) Disadvantaged Small Business Group on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). With a $20 billion ceiling, this ten-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract enables small businesses to participate in IT-related Government requirements with flexible contract types and streamlined ordering and processing, saving agencies both time and money. This new 8(a) award complements FTC’s existing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) track for this vehicle and will further expand FTC’s ability to support the needs of federal agencies across a broad range of IT services.
With 137 labor categories and a geographic scope that includes both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations, CIO-SP3 Small Business covers a wide-range of innovative and secure solutions for agencies across the federal government, including initiatives as diverse as bioinformatics, enterprise systems, Big Data, mobility, and health IT across ten task areas that meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements.
FTC was awarded all ten CIO-SP3 task areas after a comprehensive screening process, including review of technical capabilities, past performance, price, and cost. Evidencing our deep technical capabilities and extensive past performance across our broad portfolio, this vehicle will enable FTC to continue delivering innovative, streamlined solutions to support our DoD and civilian customers’ most important IT initiatives.
