FTC Awarded VA $132M Benefits, Appeals & Memorials (BAM) PMO Task

This win builds on FTC’s record of success supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology (OIT) Enterprise Program Management Office for the past three years and will enable FTC to continue promoting innovation across BAM product lines

FTC is excited to announce the award of the new four-year, $132M Benefits Appeals and Memorials (BAM) Project Management Office and Technical Support task order. This procurement was competed and awarded as a task order under VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology-Next Generation (T4NG) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle and will enable FTC to continue serving as a trusted partner to the Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Veterans Benefits Association (VBA), and National Cemetery Administration (NCA) in deploying products that improve benefits delivery to our nation’s Veterans.

This win builds on FTC’s record of success providing project and program management support for approximately 50 projects in the Benefits and Memorials Portfolio over the past three years. With this award, FTC will lead OIT’s transition to Product Line Management and usher the BAM suite of programs transformation to become a true DevSecOps organization. The team continues to promote innovation within the portfolio and has designed and built VA’s first ever Data Call response system, which FTC will pilot during this award’s period of performance.

Led by Andrew Young, Operations Director and longtime VA Specialist, the FTC BAM PMO team has exemplified excellence under his supervision and has consistently received the highest QASP scores and Excellent CPAR ratings.

“As a trusted partner to the Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Veterans Benefits Association (VBA), and National Cemetery Administration (NCA), we are thrilled that our outstanding incumbent record on this task has been recognized. With this new award, we will continue to promote innovation to improve the customer experience for Veterans, family members, and caregivers as they navigate the spectrum of VA services. We look forward to continuing our team’s impactful work,” stated FTC CEO and President, Vaseal Montgomery.
