FTC, a fast-growing IT solutions and services consulting company that specializes in next-gen digital transformation to drive mission success for civilian, defense and intelligence agencies in the Federal Government, is pleased to announce the award of a new Software Development task order supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Financial Services Center (FSC). This five-year $87M task order award is FTC’s 36th on the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle.
With the mission of providing high-quality financial services that inspire trust and that empower its Federal customers to focus on their core missions, the VA FSC Financial Technology Service (FTS) provides high-quality Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, software engineering, Electronic Commerce, and IT system support services for various initiatives throughout the FSC, Other Government Agencies (OGA), and VA. The VA FSC is engaging FTC to apply leading software engineering and software development practices and system solution architect expertise to perform system development life cycle (SDLC) tasks in the development of applications and systems. FTC will provide project management, research and assessment, development guidelines, technical services, software development, and deployment support in addition to providing Tier 3 system sustainment, production, and analytical support for all FSC solutions. FTC will also support FSC’s SAFe Agile, .NET, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Enterprise, DevSecOps, and Pega Centers of Excellence. Using a Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP)-aligned Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), FTC will partner with VA to achieve the outcomes of improved accountability and performance reporting, increased flexibility in meeting variable demands, and procedural checks and feedback that improve compliance and management control.
