A Veteran with a 30-year record of service in the United States Army, Vaseal Montgomery is the founder and President/CEO of FTC and oversees the mission, vision, and strategic objectives as well as the financial, administrative, and day-to-day operations of the company.
With a Master of Science in Counseling from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington, a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, and both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia, Vaseal advanced her expertise in information management while serving in the United States Army. During her thirty-year military career, Vaseal earned the rank of Colonel and served a number of leadership roles including Chief Information Officer/Director of Information Management for the Army Surgeon General; Program Manager for the Tri-Service Infrastructure Program Office; Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the North Atlantic Regional Medical Command; Chief Information Officer for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center; Director Information Management for the Womack Army Medical Center; CIO for the Martin Army Community Hospital; and CIO for the Gorgas Army Community Hospital.
Vaseal’s extensive experience in the field of Healthcare Information Technology and passion for making a difference in the lives of American Veterans led her to establish Favor TechConsulting, LLC as a leading Information Technology (IT) and Management Solutions provider with a mission to improve the Federal Government’s healthcare service for Veterans and their families in 2007. Ten years later, Vaseal continues to be the driving force behind FTC’s extraordinary success today.
Vaseal enjoys reading, relaxing and spending time with her granddaughter in her spare time. During football season, you will find her glued to all that is happening in the NFL.
