FTC Veterans Outreach Program

Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) was founded with the mission and vision to be a vital part of the lives of our Veterans by making a difference in their health, well-being, and quality of life. We are proud of our status as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) and are honored to serve the Veteran community through our work in the Department of Veteran Affairs and Department of Defense.

Recognizing the sacrifices Veterans have made in their service to this great country, FTC has established programs designed to address Veterans needs through hiring efforts and support of Veteran charitable organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project, the Fischer House Foundation, the Robert Mount Pisgah (RMP) VetCare Ministry program, The Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), The Northeast Florida Women’s Veterans, Inc, and the Buffalo Soldiers Historical Society to name just a few. However, as one of the fastest growing Veteran-owned businesses in the country, we feel we can, and should do more to support our Veterans, their families, and their causes.

FTC understands the difficult challenges that many of our Veterans often face when transitioning from serving our Nation, to joining and succeeding in the civilian workforce. Some of our goals are:

  • To provide support to our Veterans transitioning from military careers to life in the civilian community
  • To increase FTC’s awareness in the Veteran community
  • To increase FTC’s Veteran hiring target to 25%
  • To achieve and maintain a Veteran workforce retention rate of 20%
  • To support Veteran based charitable organizations financially as well as through our volunteered time

  • To achieve these goals, FTC will team with military transition centers, military associations, state and local government offices, and Veteran organizations in an effort to identify and hire transitioning and retiring military Veterans. We will be actively participating in Veteran networking programs and job fairs, as well as attending Veteran non-profit events that help support Veteran causes.

I am asking everyone to support in our Veterans Outreach Program efforts to make this a great success for our Veterans, their families and FTC. I’m also asking the FTC family and partners to provide support for this program through ideas and suggestions on Veteran activities we can support, and in helping FTC communicate our strong desire to consider Veterans for employment. With a total commitment from everyone, we can and will make a different in the lives of our Veterans and their families.
